Admin – Invoicing Updates
Update
Invoice & Late Payment Email Updates
- Invoices and late payment reminders now send from a no-reply address.
- Client Profile now flags (and blocks saving) if both catering and batch invoice settings are selected at the same time.
- Initial invoice emails and late payment reminders now include updated language noting the email may be shared with others who receive invoice details, with billing questions routed to your sales rep and remittances to finance@tryhungry.com.
Order Confirmation Emails
Fix
Fixed Order Confirmation Emails Blocked by a Bad Contact Address
Fixed a bug where one malformed contact email on a chef's notification list blocked the order confirmation email from sending to any of that chef's contacts. The system now skips the invalid address and still delivers to valid ones.
Client Admin Dashboard
Fix
Weekly Snapshot Vendors Now Sorted by Day
Fixed the "This Week's Vendors" list to display vendors in scheduled order (Mon–Fri) instead of appearing in random order.
Update
Viewing Orders Modal Copy Update
Updated user status terminology in the Viewing Orders modal (Group Order) for clarity and consistency — "Order Type" is now "User Type," and "Registered" is now "Member" for users who have been added to the location/meal program. This is a copy-only change; no logic was changed. Previously, "Registered" in the Viewing Orders modal indicated that a user was associated with the location/meal program rather than ordering as a guest, which conflicted with the Manage Users tab, where "Registered" indicates a user has fully completed account setup.
Admin – Catering Proposals
New
Packaging Type on Client-Facing Catering Proposals
- Client-facing catering Proposal PDFs can now show packaging type (e.g., "half pan") next to each menu item — items with "No Packaging" selected show "N/A."
- This can be configured per client via a new "Show Menu-Item Level Packaging Type on Proposals" checkbox in Client Profile (off by default).
Admin – Group Order Client Schedules
New
Configurable Client Schedules
- Improved client scheduling: Admin users can now configure a client location's recurring Group Order service schedule, including active days, order cutoff times, and dropoff times. Global defaults can be set, with the flexibility to override schedules at the individual location level.
- Schedule overrides & office closures: Admins can mark a specific date as a Day Off, including a reason and notes, for holidays, office closures, or other schedule changes.
- Previously, schedules and closures relied on manual communication, which could lead to scheduling errors and last-minute cancellations. Centralizing schedules and overrides in Admin creates a single source of truth for Support, Food Partners, and Auto Assigner — helping prevent orders from being scheduled on closed days.
Admin – Diner Profiles
New
Default Delivery, Parking & Set Up Instructions on Diner Profiles
Diner Profiles now support adding a default "Order Delivery, Parking & Set Up Instructions" that will auto-populate on new catering orders (taking precedence over location-level defaults), stay editable per order, and flow through to the Ops dashboard and checklist.
