Group Order – Menu Management
New
Dietary Minimums for Group Order Menus
- Markets can now set a minimum % of Group Order menu items required to carry specific dietary tags (e.g., 20% Vegan, 20% Vegetarian, 10% Prepared Without Gluten) — the same market-level validation already used to require a minimum number of unique menu items for variety, now extended to dietary representation.
- Activating a date below a configured minimum requires an acknowledgment reason, which is logged for audit, and the calendar flags any date that goes live with an exception.

Update
User Experience to Support Same-Day Delivery
- The Group Order main ordering page now shows the full delivery window (e.g., "Delivered between 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM") to make clear delivery happens sometime within that range rather than at a single guaranteed time, matching what's already shown on Mobile and at checkout.
- Removed confusing "limited quantity" copy on menu items with an earlier cutoff, and added clearer messaging showing which items are available same-day vs. which have an earlier vendor cutoff time.
Admin – Chef Directory
New
Out-of-Network (OON) Chef Visibility
Out-of-Network (OON) chefs are now flagged with a badge or pill across four Admin surfaces — Chef List, Proposal & Order Builder, Chef Detail Page, and Group Order Flow. This makes it clear to CS and Sales the moment they're selecting an OON vendor for an order, since those orders can't be processed through Hungry and must be placed manually on the chef's own site.

Fix
Reminder Emails Still Sending for Cancelled Orders
Fixed a bug where food partners kept receiving reminder emails for orders that had already been cancelled, causing confusion about whether an order was still actually on their schedule.
Fix
Chef Role Can No Longer Be Unchecked in Admin
Fixed an issue where the Chef role checkbox in Admin could be unchecked after assignment, which risked creating data inconsistencies between chef records and headquarters. The Chef role is now locked in once assigned.
Ops Dashboard
Fix
Captain Email Notifications for Group Order Routes
Fixed an issue where captains weren't receiving email notifications for Group Order route assignments (SMS was going through, but email wasn't) — now matches the existing behavior for Catering Orders.
Client Dashboard
Fix
On-Time Delivery Rate Calculation
Fixed a bug where the on-time delivery % on the client dashboard didn't default correctly when an Ops manager hadn't manually confirmed delivery status, which was understating performance compared to internal reporting.
